STACIE

I’m Stacie, and I love teaching spin! My spin classes combine cross training and high intensity interval training (H.I.I.T.) keeping them fun, high energy, and challenging to maximize calorie burn. I love the endorphin rush after pushing myself and class members to the extreme. One of my favorite sayings is, “You’re only one workout away from a good mood!” so I want you to finish my classes sweaty and happy!

I have been a certified spin instructor for 7 years and also hold certifications in personal training, group fitness and step. Prior to Cycle Extreme, I taught spin locally at several other studios in Tampa. In addition to spin, I have instructed weights classes, kickboxing, boot camp, and step. Currently, I am also a coach at Orangetheory Fitness in Westchase.

Before the fitness industry, I was an elementary school teacher. My undergraduate degree is from Florida State University and my graduate degree is from the University of South Florida. My husband Josh and I have two children in elementary school. In my free time I enjoy boating, playing softball, working out of course, reading, and spending time with family and friends.

LORI

My name is Lori Leonhardt. I am a (competitive) New York State native, and moved to the Tampa Bay area 2 years ago. I am both ISSA and MAD DOGG certified as a personal trainer and spin instructor. I have years of experience in the fitness world, including teaching bootcamps and HIIT classes at fitness clubs in the nearby areas. I am a busy baseball travel mom of two young men. My personal hobbies scale the spectrum of outdoor activities, baseball, cooking and rescuing fur babies (older the better).My love for fitness and overall body health are evident with my passion and intense delivery in every class I instruct.

THERESA

Theresa

Theresa brings her energetic strong and sassy to Cycle Extreme. After graduating NPTI, with an Advance Personal instructor diploma, Theresa has absorbed herself in the fitness Industry. Focusing on dance, strength training, and personal training. Theresa has developed a unique mindset that inspires her riders to find themselves through movement, tap into new strength, and smile while doing it.  Theresa believes it is great for people to come to Cycle Extreme and get amazing bodies but is more important for everyone to release all their emotions and stress as well.

ELLIS

Ellis

I’m Ellis and I was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas. My motto is “MOTIVATE” and my passion is inspiring others to become a better version of themselves. I’ve been spinning regularly for about 5 years, but fitness has been a part of my entire life. I like to take you on a journey during our rides and my goal is to provide a challenging, fun and form focused workout. Besides spin, my 1st love is strength training, you can find me in the gym 6 days a week, and I also attempt to run at least 1 or 2 Sprint triathlons a year. The playlist is everything to me! While I have definite favorites, you’ll always have a curated list with a few new combos sprinkled in. I have a special affinity for new riders, to show them that anybody can do this motivating, addicting and fun class!

Fitness Motto/Philosophy: Wherever you are is perfect –“You Make You”, my goal is to challenge you to find the fiercest you that exist right now. Bring it on!

Hello my name is Martin Vergara, I am passionate some might even say obsessed about fitness. I love everything that has to do with fitness from running and spinning to boxing and obstacle races. I am 26 years old and born and raised in New Jersey. I am currently a professional MMA (mixed martial arts) fighter. Being a professional athlete gives all the different workouts I do a purpose. I am also a big fan of dancing my favorite show is world of dance because even dancing is a great workout.

I also am very passionate about music as are all workout enthusiast. I have a beautiful little family that includes my beautiful wife my 2 little girls and my 2 kitties. What I love most about working out is how it can help people and that’s what I love the most, making people feel good about themselves as they better there own health. I started as a trainer at 20 years old so even though I’m young I have 6 years of training group classes. Any other questions don’t be afraid to ask.

ASHLEY

Hi! My name is Ashley, and I am so blessed and excited to be on the Cycle Extreme team!
Before becoming an instructor, I was a regular rider here at the studio. The feeling after giving it your all, and pushing through that 45 minute ride yielded an incredible mind and body workout for me. After leaving every class I felt so refreshed and empowered; ready take on the day and facing whatever challenges could come my way.
I look forward to motivating others, and helping you mentally and physically achieve your goals here at Cycle Extreme. Music is also a huge motivator for me, and I cannot wait to share my playlists with you all!
When I’m not at the studio instructing or taking rides from our incredible line up of instructors, you can find me hanging out with my husband and our two little girls, spending some quality time at my sewing machine or getting my sweat on at the beach or by a good strength training session.

KRISTINA

My name is Kristina I have been teaching group fitness for over 3 years.  I love fitness and enjoy sharing this passion with others.  I have a background in cheer, gymnastics, swimming and track.  I was awarded an athletic scholarship to the University of South Florida, where I competed in track and field as a pole vaulter.  I anything sports related, especially when it involves watching my boys, Charlie and Harrison, play ball or run the track at school.  I took my first spin class 4 years ago and fell in love with it immediately.  I love to ride it out to hip hop and add some flair and fun moves to my classes.

RUTH

Ruth Bozeman has a passion for health and fitness and has over 15 years’ experience in the fields. She is a regional marketing and events manager for Nutrition Smart. Ruth is also an experienced Personal Trainer, Running and Nutrition Coach and has served as the Group Fitness Manager for health clubs across the south east. Ruth has been a certified and teaching Spinning/Cycle for over 12 years and her favorite class styles to coach include cycle, kickboxing, boot camp and Dance. She has taught at Lifetime Athletic, Lifetime Fitness, Germantown Athletic Club, The YMCA and various other small studios throughout her tenure.
